Our Story
DaysGoneBy began as a platform for telling Palestinian and Middle Eastern history archival photographs, records of villages and cities, the everyday life of a region often spoken about and rarely allowed to speak. That work came first. The brand came after, when it became clear the same history could be carried, not just read.
The Rooted in Dignity collection is where that storytelling becomes tangible. It isn't a logo printed on a blank garment. Each piece carries the story of Palestinian roots and resilience something you can wear into a room and have it mean something, to you and to whoever recognises it.
The design says it plainly: an olive tree whose trunk takes the shape of the land, roots holding firm beneath it, Arabic script set in the branches. The olive tree has stood for steadfastness — صمود — and connection to homeland for generations. Those themes are drawn from real history, not chosen as decoration.
This is a solo-run brand. Everything is made to order, one piece at a time no mass production, no warehouse of unsold stock, no waste. It moves at the pace of one person doing the work properly.
